I've seen the feature in plain HTML pages for years. The ability to "collapse" or "hide" sections of a webpage.

It's my simple hope to ask for such a feature. I don't usually have a concern in most things, especially now since I've worked the release filtering; but apparently my filters aren't being applied in the new section Contest Entries, I am seeing things which my filter would have prevented from being shown ― and I get the reason for it, because 'contests' seem to be very topical and thus relatively outside the bounds of filtering. But instead I'd like to ask to toggle the collapse/expand state for the sections so I don't see parts of the main page which I care less to see.

The only part I'd ask to make 'non-collapsible' would be the Latest Releases, because this seems to be the main reason for the front page in the first place. Anything above this would be my suggestion to be candidates for collapsing sections. Bonus points for you if this could be settings saved in the user database so no matter which device I view from, the page content would auto-hide what I want hidden. Even if not, and even if you only start out letting section 'collapsibility' be saved via cookie, this would still be of benefit to a user such as I.
