I am not proud of myself for this, but I use chrome on android because I often read raws and chrome is just about the only browser I know that automatically translates web pages.
I download a lot of files on my phone. It was recently that I discovered that my files are cluttered. I wanted to specify what files to download where to manage them better, such as mp3 and wav files would all go to Music, mp4 and mov to Videos, pdf and djvu to Documents and from there to subfolders depending on author/style/etc.
But chrome only lets me choose between SD and Internal storage and that's it! I do not believe this is as far as it gets.
Surely, there must be a way, right? So how do I do it?
I haven't found it online so I came here to ask

I think this is what you are asking for?

Go to Chrome app, click on Downloads then chose the Gear icon. Then either choose change location Download or turn on "Ask where to save files".
