The statistics pages, search listings and the table of contents panel when editing a story all show various info about a series and its chapters.
Some of these are averages, like Average Views (chapter views divided by chapters) and Average Words (words divided by chapters).

I'd like to suggest some other simple averages that might help authors compare how popular or beloved various chapters and series are:
  • Chapters: favorites/reads ratio (or favorites per reader, though I don't think unique readers are tracked) -- makes most sense in Table of Contents
  • Series: favorites/reads ratio (both of these are better with valid reads)
  • Series: reads per chapter (makes comparing longer and shorter series easier) -- right now you can see this for each story as "Average Views" on its statistics page, but to compare series it'd be even better to see it on the Dashboard in a list of your series
  • Series: reads per day (since first chapter published) -- makes comparing older and newer series easier
  • Series: favorites per chapter
  • Series: favorite per day (since first chapter published)
The series info is very useful to see on the dashboard, but I think that's the same display block that's used for all search results on the site. So I'm not sure whether it'd make sense to add more info into it, although who knows: maybe these ratios/averages would be useful for readers too, in search of "much-favorited" series, etc. In any case, you could put these on the Statistics page too.

Series: favorites per chapter

Both values are presented individually and I don't think the exact ratio tells you much more than eyeballing it does. That said it'd be trivial to implement, so if you think it helps, why not?

Series: reads per day (since first chapter published) -- makes comparing older and newer series easier
Series: favorite per day (since first chapter published)
Same as above, except this time it seems misleading on its own to me due to its high dependence on chapters released in that period.
