Resolved Bookmark Icon Notification Bug

(Firefox) Despite having no unread messages, dragging a specific reading list bookmark on to the bookmark's toolbar, it shows the “S” icon with an unread notification. When I however, drag the bookmark for the front page or another bookmark of a different list onto the toolbar, it does not have that red notification icon any more. It also only happens with the 4th list, regardless if the individual lists were moved around. This (I think) happened before, but it went away on its own one day.

This is an issue with the way firefox caches "favicons" (yes, they are actually called that), not an issue with the site itself.

It can happen to any webpage that puts notification badges on the "favicon"

Ah. Thank you. I was not aware that existed. Thought it was an issue with the site since it only happened with scribblehub for me, but that must have been just a coincidence.
