Thomas quickly scanned his surroundings as he went into a bar.
He was certain he wasn't tailed.
The informant of the Society said that this was the bar. This was the place where he had to exchange the goods.
The place was dimly lit and old classy music was playing. Sinatra?
There were few patrons lounging on small plastic tables in the shade in similarly small sizes. A few drunkards were sitting at the barman's table, nursing their drinks.
Thomas confidently strode there and called the barman. The old bald guy in his sixties clad in a motorcycle uniform came over.
"I want the bloodiest strongest drink in this place!"
The old man narrowed his eyes, evidently recognising the code: "We have many of those but they ain't cheap. Whacha gonna pay me, son?"
Now, Thomas steeled himself. He hated the password but it had to be done:
"Will you say gex with me?"
