I plan on publishing the story on Amazon close to December this year but I need to have some people read it and let me know what they think.

I think you'd be better off asking for beta readers directly though. Having a few full critiques will always be better than the alternative.

I am concerned with it hurting my ability to publish it but I haven't been able to find anyone who is willing to be a beta reader.

TheTrinary, Hans, Anon, greyblob, Story_Marc, M.G.Driver? I doubt you will get enough feedback from simply posting your story, so I think asking for their help is the best course of action.
