Recommendations Best Re: type stories

I remember when Re:monster first came out it spawned a whole lot of random reincarnation + evolve mechanic type stories. I was wonder after all this time what has risen to the top of this genre even though it has seem to fallen to the wayside.

As per the actual TOPIC of the thread *stabs you-know-who*, Madoka is a pretty good deconstruction of a genre.

One of my faves from college.
