Please add a chapter label that lets authors just write the title, or skip it, and stop worrying about which number it is.

As an additional feature request tied to the one above, please add the option to declare the chapter as a side story, making it so it doesn't mess up the numbering of the chapters.

Problems it'll fix:
  1. Keeping track of the chapter number / side story number
  2. Making reader less susceptible to read the last chapter before the first.
Additional ideas; this is something cool I thought about, but maybe you can add something so that you can declare the chapter as a part of the one before, and you could also make it so side stories are able to be filtered out, in case someone wants to read the main arc before delving into side stories. One last thing, it'd be nice if side stories could be declared as happening after a certain chapter, in order to prevent spoilers from accidentally occurring.

Thanks for taking my opinion into account!

I have something like that planned.

There's a sort feature which you can move chapters around. Is that what you're referring to?

Not really, what I mean is some sort of feature that separates side stories from the main story, and if you read them outside the selected order, it'll warn you about it.
