So, I got the ending done. And I have written up to almost the end. I just have to do the one connecting chapter between the dramatic recovery of the villainess where the crown prince betrays the hero and then we pick up at the Villainess denouncement.
JUST ONE, GODDAMN CHAPTER. Maybe two. Maybe it should be two chapters, but one should be enough.
Everything comes together. The Chekhov's Slave Collar gets brought back, all the plots wrap up, the big bad evil reveal, the last second set-back. It's got it all. I just need to write the one chapter connecting chapters 113 to 115 and then the book, she is done.
I spent 6 hours and I got... 4 paragraphs to show for it. I dunno. I just can write anything that doesn't sound stupid as fuck.
Anyone bored enough to let me send you chapter 113 and 115 and I'll give you the general idea what is supposed to happen in 114 and then maybe you can give me something that isn't dumb?
Gonna go to bed and maybe sleeping will help, but I just wasted an entire evening spinning my wheels, so I know when to admit I should ask for help. (recovering from this damn root canal isn't helping.)
