Are Instructional Books allowed?

I heard by rumor that instructional books, while rare, are allowed on SH, but I cannot find any forum info that says so. Wanted to check first.
If it is allowed, what Genre and tags should be applied to it, if it matters?

That's kind of brilliant, like how, before Howard Hesseman left and Billy Connolly took over, Head of the Class always featured a small history lesson (except on the once-a-season musical episodes, though even those were usually historically significant in some way, like Hair).
Heck, for a superhero fiction project in the 90s, I stole liberally from that show for a superhero whose alter ego was a history professor...

It's a bit of a loop hole doing that, but if it tells a story then it's allowed to go up. Armchair treasure hunt books are essentially instructional books to find real buried treasure, so if done correctly it should be possible to make a story that teaches you RL skills.
