I have one, but I am debating to use it to upload my art. I’m already using Deviantart and Cara. Just wondering I should upload my art or not.
Is there any reason why you wouldn't want to?Just wondering I should upload my art or not.
it is open to public scrapers, unlike X. However, it's FAR less toxic than X. Anyone that gets toxic gets banned pretty quickly and anyone that mentions politics usually gets mass blocked (not banned, but most individuals block them, from what I've seen). I'm a writer, so I tend to post little snippets.I have one, but I am debating to use it to upload my art. I’m already using Deviantart and Cara. Just wondering I should upload my art or not.
as long as you don't bring up topics, that won't affect your experienceNo. But then again my personal beliefs don't mesh well with the owners.
I'm not a social media guy in general.as long as you don't bring up topics, that won't affect your experience
I have an account but I made one post, then never opened it again.
I'm just not twitter/twitter-type user ig. But go for its good exposure.
According to the bluesky ToS, anything posted is inherently giving a license to bluesky to use to train their AI, sell to third parties, alter and use in marketing and products. All without having to pay you for it.I have one, but I am debating to use it to upload my art. I’m already using Deviantart and Cara. Just wondering I should upload my art or not.
Cara for the same reason.a lot of artists moved to bsky to escape AI scrapping of Twitter
but I wouldn’t ask in a writer forum for visual art advice
the app is great and visibility from strangers is there
if you liked how Twitter was then I’d say yes, if not… still your decision
Bsky is like how Twitter should have been. If you liked how it works then use it if not, then not. It’s really just about what interface you like more.Cara for the same reason.
Cara is not just for professional. After A while Cara took a while to get used to. I’ll post some fanart on Bsky before my original characters, just to see.Bsky is like how Twitter should have been. Cara intimidated me so I never made an account there, while bsky and mastodon are more casual on first glance. Although people told me that Cara is not just for professionals, but it feels like ArtStation and it’s intimidating ?
I always found that move to be dumb. Not only is bsky scraping like X, it's post policy lets any company scrap. X was just upfront about it, that's the only diff.a lot of artists moved to bsky to escape AI scrapping of Twitter

The move from Twitter is not dumb at all. The interface of bsky and functionality are ahead of Twitter. It’s not only about that. If we go by that then we can also say that SH is a heaven for bots to scrap from. But people still use it because various reasons.I always found that move to be dumb. Cara is like a mix of dA and ArtStation. Personally as someone who started in da I wouldn’t use it anymore, mainly because the artists I subscribed left and I found new ones on Twitter.I have one, but I am debating to use it to upload my art. It is when most of them cry about scraping, but move to another site that does the same thing. The move from Twitter is not dumb at all. The interface of bsky and functionality are ahead of Twitter. But that’s not the point, OP asked for whether to post on bsky, and I say yes if they liked the way Twitter worked. The feed algorithm is also better than other apps. All that is a matter of taste.
It’s better than Twitter. It’s ad free. It has not a stupid name like X.Never heard of it, I feel like I'm blessed that I never heard of it since you guys compared it to Twitter. Also, I don't use Twitter/X and I can say that I'm proud of myself.
