This is a story about an online game where players fight not just for their Kingdoms, but for themselves.

Why do you play this game? For fun? Fame? Money? An escape from reality? To build your own legacy? Or are you searching for something beyond—a secret hidden within?

But the real battle isn’t confined to a virtual world. It happens right here, in reality. In the end, it's money and power that shape the world, and everyone is just another player in the game called ‘life'.

This series explores politics, economy, media, and the e-sports industry. But it is also a deep dive into the vast world of Valia—its intricate classes, items, abilities, and mechanics.

Step in and enjoy the game, and feel free to write your feedback. It would be one chapters per 2 days. I am Vietnamese and I write this originally in Vietnamese, so the English translation might be not too good, but I hope you can still enjoy.

Would’ve thought to check it out but I see no mention of characters, so I’ll pass

Same as TheIcMan. I checked the novel out, but I have no idea who the protagonist is at chapter one, Helen, Henry, or whoever the Korean girl is, and I don't see a multiple protagonist tag. Not only that, but I understand zero of the game lingo, so I don't know what's happening, and frankly I just don't feel very invested.

I think you might find readers who liked this sort of atmosphere, though, Readers who do play a lot of games and know a lot about game lingo (unless this is a game you made up, in that case I dunno). Good luck to you, Mx. Author.

i like chapter 1! it reminds me of REAMDE by neil stephenson.

i think your synopsis doesn't do the story justice. people are probably assuming this is another LITrpg / SAO ripoff, when in reality it's "what if EVE online was a fantasy game and Go metaphor?"

I think that helen is a great character for the narration to start with. starting with henry is, as some people said, confusing.

i think you should have a couple lines about a stock analyst calling helen trying to get her opinion on if he should buy white or red, before it's revealed what "stocks" he's trying to buy. seeing helen log into the game is really good worldbuilding, and since she's mostly impartial she's a good character to center your first chapter around.

does the game include perma-death? if your character dies one time are you just *out?* include that. the one account per user fact is so interesting... one of the facts about irl medieval battles is that they were basically big shoving matches, the body counts were usually in the dozens not the thousands. that'd mean that the great god's being summoned would be more impactful.

it's clear you have something interesting to say with this story, but the aesthetics of the book page aren't doing you any favors. i like the cover, but i think it's the cover of a different book. imagine if the cover was a picture of hellen in front of her computer screen with that picture on the screen?

edit: (just wanted to include, the idea that permadeath is a thing but some people are so invested in the game that they pay people to be their mouthpieces is really... interesting and ominous. imagining a Ghost King who's sitting right behind a well paid professional gamer who's relaying everything his boss says)

Agree on this. The story isn't bad, it's really good, in fact. I think it'll attract a certain audience.

The idea is cool, and now I see it summarized I'm starting to like it. The problem is just that people keep going in with the wrong expectations, because you make your synopsis and cover misleading.
