I told you so. Most xianxia reads like this. Writing quality should be the last thing you expect from them. This is very unrealistic indeed. Books in medieval China are burned and the scholars buried.

Tony now have a system to detect stories breaking the rules and nuke them. SH is a good place to read original stories now. Don't worry about LLM or MTL.

Suggestion: exclude the xianxia/xuanhuan genre from your feedback thread. Majority of novels with that genre suffers from translation-esque writing and detestable protagonist. Unless you are okay with repeating the same feedback again and again for every submissions of course.

Choppy cinematic styles are good for actions and high adrenaline tense situations. For others, not so much.

Synopsis should make potential readers curious about the story enough to click. At least make them care about the MC.

Just don't take him somewhere shady like Discord and scam him.

If you are writing Xianxia/Xuanhuan but the MC is a doormat and not a psychotic sociopath, then you are doing it wrong.
