Which story of yours is probably the most suitable to have video game adaptation

Games are my biggest inspiration, the magic system, especially the type of skills that the main duo uses is kind of a mix of Xenoblade and WoW. If I ever could somehow turn it into a game I think I'd love a xenoblade-esque combat system, with a more linear progression and tighter set pieces...

As an author, how do you feel when you reread your novels?

The first couple of weeks I can read a chapter and be fine or even like it, and then if I go back far enough I start to hate it. Especially if I've written newer chapters, I will start to nit pick all the tiny choices I made. So after a certain cut off point I stop reading old chapters cause I...

Do every race have the same brain?

Fantasy races probably have more biological differences than dog breeds which are all the same species and have wildly different cognitive abilities so I'd say that there would be massive differences in their brains.

What are your first books you read that impacted you?

First book I remember reading was where the Red Fern Grows in school, and of Mice and Men. I didn't really get into hobby though. I remember when I was like 18-20 I received the first book in the Dexter series cause my grandma knew I was a fan of the show and I did read that, I even bought the...

    Games you grew out of?

I'm gonna join the trend and say MMOs are definitely a genre I've basically completely fallen out of love with. WoW butchered the world, and lore so badly that I don't even really like the IP anymore, just the memories. XIV was great till it again it wasn't, the butchering wasn't as hard but...

    Be descriptive

This is more from a reader perspective but I personally get really bored and started to speed read when people get a little too into describing detail. I was reading this book a month ago, that I did like but goddamn there were literal pages of sensory detail that I would haphazardly parse...

When people prefer to confide in AI, is this a sign of a social empathy crisis?

I've been to a therapist and I've also trauma dumped on the AI just to see what it would say and honestly if I had to choose which one made me feel even slightly better it'd be the latter. Could be that the therapist was shit or maybe I don't understand what therapy is supposed to actually do...

Why does modern military firepower not work against monsters and other BS reasonings.

I think it has a lot to do with the fact that it makes the monster seem less threatening if you can just shoot it. A gun is something that we know how effective and dangerous they can be so when the demon lord turns into mush from a 12 gauge well then eh... He's somebody I could probably deal...

    What is the worst cereal?

I hated the Reese's puffs cereal when I was a kid. People hyped it up a lot and it just tasted like I was eating somebody's burped up chocolate pebbles.

Writing How do y'all figure out story or worldbuilding problems that you're stuck on?

I go for a walk or take a hot shower, really anything that gets me away from the screen and puts me into a mellowed out state. I think things come easier when you let your mind wander instead of trying to force an idea.

    RIP OZZY OSBOURNE

This is the worst thing about getting older, watching people who shaped culture bow out. I know it's inevitable but damn man. It sucks. RIP Ozzy.

Why don’t the monsters in your world attack cities often?

The main big bad creatures of my universe are stuck to what the inworld residents call mires. They're like zones that are haunted with stagnant life energy, the creatures themselves are built and animated by this energy and if they stray too far from it for too long then they'll eventually get...

Where have all the people gone...?

I personally love it when I take my walks and there is no cars or people around. It's like having the whole city to yourself. It's very peaceful.

Help me decide what to read next

I really liked The Inheritors. It's kinda confusing and it can take a bit to get used to how the characters talk/think about things (they're Neanderthals) But it's actually really fun. It's by William Golding

Writing 1,000, 1,500, or 2,000 --- What’s the ideal word count per chapter

It's been chapter dependent for me. I try to figure out what each chapter is supposed to do for the main story, if it's a big event it tends to be longer, if it's a small character building moment it is usually shorter.
