    Plot. Then you wrap around your characters to fit it. In my experience when you don't have your plot, only the characters, that's when you won't finish the damn book.

    Report comment, report profile (they began disabling that) then delete comment. If it's a DM, I usually write back something outrageous and also report the profile for spam/harrasment.
