Printers suck. That's just what they do. Nobody really knows how they even work. Sometimes they will just refuse to work or work wrongly in the strangest ways, and nobody could tell you why. And don't let me start on HP printers...

What are some of the most absurd plots you've ever encountered in fiction?

Maybe not the single most absurd, but pretty stupid. Supernatural: The MCs convince themselves they are saving others/the world from [insert evil of the season]. They get in way over their heads. They do everything they can to get out of trouble, even when it's obviously a very stupid thing...

Question re: beastmen, beastkin etc in Isekai stories...

While I do have preference, it really depends more on how they fit into the setting and story, rather than the body type itself. It certainly feels like a lot of the more recent anime/manga has more focus on fanservice and stupid comedy, at the expense of actual plot and worldbuilding. It's...

    Fanfic idea (Marvel)

Go for it. Worst that can happen, people will tell you it's trash - so average fanfiction, really. And since I have long ago blocked that tag, it does not affect me either way.

Still remember my first game (and actually found the old save from that time). Approaching year 20 I managed to run out of tools. This soon led to shortages of almost everything else. Then in early spring of year 20 a fire burned down a third of my town. The following winter my population was...

[Need suggestions] The 7 wonders of early 21st century's gaming industry

I did not play Morrowind long enough to judge it in this regard, but the dumbing down from Oblivion to Skyrim is clear as day, and remains probably my greates disapointment with the game. 8 attributes and 21 skills reduced to just three basic attributes and 18 skills, and everything clearly...

[Need suggestions] The 7 wonders of early 21st century's gaming industry

Fair enough, your inclusion of GTA V threw me off. Oblivion is an overall good product, direct precursor to Skyrim, but that DLC threw the gates open wide for greed that grew out of control.

It's almost a crime to forget TES IV: Oblivion Horse Armor. It was the breaking point for microtransactions and DLCs.

How much coincidence is too much coincidence?

Once is an accident. Twice is a coincidence. Three times - a pattern.
