Go with what your heart tells you. Take the readers' feedback but fare it against your own plan and ideas. If it enlightens you, change things. If it seems wrong, ignore it. As rude and weird as it sounds, people don't know what they want. Something that seems good to them can ruin the whole...
Just pick up uploading chapters again. People will notice it being back for sure. And new people will notice it on recent releases on the bottom of the front page. That's a double boost, returning and new readers. High chances of getting into trending too, if you get some decent attention. It...
Well, I didn't really unlock them. At least yet. Dunno if I'll do it. We'll see. Since I have some explicit content, even if it's fitting all the rules, it's safer holding it behind locked access. Just to avoid some fly-by reports.
I have them all just for the sake of people who come for one story and then decide to check out the other one on Patreon from the beginning instead of looking for it on the novel sites. I'd say upload all in case you'll have more than one story. It also allows people to browse past content...
That only works with established trust. Artists and authors ask upfront unless they know they won't get fooled. It sounds rude, but you should understand that malicious people exist.
Use only that one if you are offering advanced stuff. Else people can come in, yoink all the stuff and fuck out before their payment is processed, cancelling it. Never use other options besides upfront for such services unless you want to end up scammed or robbed.
I would still go with my initial plan of having it happen when I felt it was appropriate. Trying to forcefully quicken the arrival could bring more harm than good. People aren't that horny. They enjoy the story too. Unless no one would go through 50k words of prologue before any hot action...
You can also create a group chat in Discord but not add anyone and be the only person there. Whatever you post there will have a link you can then copy and paste or reference anywhere and the image will be visible. That's what I mostly use since it's fast and works well. Naturally, like with any...
Anyway, for the time there isn't or I'm not aware of it although I researched that part 6 months ago and didn't notice new feature announcements. So editing, ticking the checkbox and saving was or is the only option now.
Ah, then there isn't. I do change manually and then send personal messages by the group of the tier since checking "notify about changes" sends them to everyone no matter the tier. With 3 groups of advanced chapters it's not much work, at least to me. I can see how introducing such update system...
I'm up for it. Sometimes I reply with hundreds of words about something but the comment is buried way back on the second page and actually has important info or there are further ones that ask the same.
