So... I haven't really subscribed to the whole woke, anti-woke dichotomy...
I have just been... myself which is to try and be nice, and called out thing seen seeped negative bs. But apparently that's no good. and need to be targeted.
Just looking at some of the post on the site. and time line of when things happen.
It really only took 4 days for someone go from "I will send and email to get my book fixed" to completely loosing their mind and accusing people of being racist or admin wrong doing.
Its not even one working week!
Here is the thing, novels where authors get transported in to a book's world, sure they gotta survive plot lines and shit, but none of them seem to do any writing in their down time..
And that is unrealistic.
The question is do you get a ping?
Sometime scenes are cooler in my head than written down.
So fucking tired of people coming in to the book shop asking for a book chatgpt told them is real.
And act like the stores are hidding the books from them, and after accusing the store of conspiracy and discrimination, the truth about the source of their info come out, still they refuse to accept reality.
Hate to throw a spanner in the works... but in a lot of ways, me rewriting a chapter is me translating my work from one shitty form of English to another shitty form of English.
Often I see some one say "kiddo" I think of it as a chuunibyou attack with a bleach theme.
After so many years of looking at pixiv.net....
A large chunk of anime/manga art really look same-y
occasionally a flower blooms with an explosion of new style but a lot of the time it all very similar. -
