I spent half of act 1 introducing the main characters before adding the main conflict of the story in 64 chapters.
Now I fear that perhaps I've taken too long in writing out the story, as I am over 700 pages in with act 2 starting out.

What to do: push the story forward and sacrifice some character development content? Or continue as is and hope people are satisfied with the slow pacing and development?

It took me two nights and 5k words but I did it.
I wrote a date between a woman and a cat girl... and I think it turned out perfectly.

This is my magnum opus of GL content, GL writers beware! You better raise up your standards and methods because I'm coming!

Story statistics shows views correlate with the 2Pac song "How Do You Want It." so that's interesting

Maybe the cover art and strange title make it a product for viewers to dismiss or discount?

On a related note, need to revise the story a third time and check for grammar, repetition and formatting. Improving/continuing the story for the readers I do have should remain my priority.

Day 5 after adding the GL subplot tag. No observable difference between daily view count or statistics. Reader count shows slight increase but nothing that deviates from weekly stats. Likely there are more factors into high views instead of simply adding the GL tag.

Analysis of the tag and it's correlation to views and reader count will continue for future studies ?️

Happy Sunday everyone!
Views are low but the tension is rising in my novel. Me thinks it's a good time to have some "filler" content to flesh out some characters before we shift from slice of life back to serious plot again ^^
