Hard disagree. Some endings suck, but a bad ending is better than an infinite hiatus.

An ending that doesn't give proper closure isn't really that better than a hiatus especially if the author just decided to troll you for his sadistic pleasure

If it doesn't give you closure, then it's not an ending (it should be obvious, but it's like we're speaking two different languages right now). I reiterate, even a bad ending (one that the fans didn't like but they can now move on from) is better than getting no closure.
