Nowadays, lot of idioms are reversed.

Ex: "Good wine doesn't fear being hidden in a narrow alley." => Good wine fear being hidden....
(early books were popular despite no publicity) but things were diff because THEY DIDNT HAVE SO MUCH COMPETITION.

So dont judge by cover, is now, be critical by the cover.
Not bc it risk being AI, but bc the quality is MAYBE being subpar.

Because like my dad often said,
"how can you do a good work if you dont clean your workplace" (or something)

There are multiples meanings, but one of which is : If you cant do this basic stuff, how can you do bigger things ?

So yeah. If someone have AI covers (lazy to find a good one), how can you be sure they will try hard to write their book?
> which in my defense, i have tried a few and they kinda sucked.

Well, Chunnibyou God is simply Chunnibyou, no need to take him seriously.

Still, it's not about whether they are right or wrong, the statement itself involves personal bias, it shouldn't be spread as some sort of statement because that's misleading. They may be written by AI, they may not be, but it's bias to simply judge and call that normal way of thinking.
