I understand. She said she was in the mood to try watching an anime. Though she has enjoyed some, there were quite a few she didn't like. FMA brotherhood for example.

Hmm... what kind of movies does she like usually. The problem with Anime for westerners I've found is that often the characters have very distinct personalities that usually wouldn't be explored in most western type movies/shows.

She likes all marvel movies(even the bad ones imo), she enjoys Will Ferrell movies, corny comedies, and corny romance(hallmark ripoff from time to time). She did like Your name though.

I've heard Frieren is good for people who have never watched anime. My mom liked it, maybe Mrs. Tromba will like it too.
