Money. Ahem.

Mostly, I just want to finish the novel with the vision I have in mind, not failing the themes and the moral lesson I wish to express. I've been doing good with that part, but the practicality of an MC-centric novel was how it won't suffer the phases if you just stick to him and aim for your goal/concluding chapter for the current book.

Most readers just don't care about the side characters and as a result I suffer a decrease in readers everyday.

The readers close to me and like the stuff I put out tell me they really liked it. We often talk in Discord alike, and there were side characters that were their favorites and stood out to the rest. I like my numbers, but I'd like to think I am loyal to my readers, like this fellow who talks to me and takes out a second of his time to hang out in Discord.

If it is money you have to set aside your likes or work around it.
