For many Korean stuff is the new fad. They never read them before. I was the same when I first got into Chinese novels. For a few years, it was the best thing ever, until you start noticing the same issues cropping up over and over again and then go... Ah. I see...
The current Korean trend is annoying but after the Globel Novelpia fiasco I don't see the trend last long or they continue to not dmca new novel translations.
@RepresentingDesire Can you do a small recap please? I heard they DMCA struck a shit ton of novels, including ones I was reading, but what about failure? I didn't go too deep into it.
For now Global Novelpia seems to be going well, but how many will actually buy the plus thingy, I can point to at least two anti novelpia sites already, furthermore it's the unofficial translation that spread Kr novels.
The site itself genuinely sucks, it's without account very unusable due to popups, the translation itself are of mtl with very light editing quality. Persay it's no fiasco for now but I'm not seeing this go well.
Wow. I know they are greedy and retarded, but not to this extent. They can at least steal translations. It's an ass move, but for them it would be profitable.
