It's okay. I have a difficult time getting reads there. You can't schedule your chapters to autopost later.

It is a very silent platform in my opinion. My biggest gripe is the inability to schedule…. It is a pain in the bum.

I like the community, the site layout is nice looking, writers can't organize raids to downvote other writers which is a huge plus. As for the community being nice, it's probably because the cliques haven't solidified and they aren't big enough to comercialize but that might just be me being a cynical bull.

My experience in HF is:

-Readers are not too vocal of their opinions, prolly coz I'm outside their circle.

-If you're a newbie author seeking refuge from RR and SH, then HF might be the place to help you build your confidence back.

-Lotsa stories lean on Hachiman-style sentimental works, or weaboo-style novels complete with JPN names and terms

-Community is difficult to get into, but once you did, they can be pretty close knit.

-And yeah, my big issue is that your illust uploads are limited to four per book, one cover and three for gallery.

-Rating is limited to likes, hence tis pretty safe for writers looking just to write and don't compete.
