I feel like they are stepping on a mine. You should never rely on modders to improve gameplay.

The game itself should be great, which in turn would encourage modders to make improvements with permission.

Kim Hyung-tae is based.

Though, I think it is really a rare case when a game is bad enough to repel even modders.

@Valmond the director wants Stellar Blade to have a modding community. He wants to see modders not just improve their own stellar blades but give out more mods that will make the gameplay more fun.

In other words he wants to do what Bethesda at one point in time wanted to gatekeep behind paywalls.

Yeah, I get that. Though, can’t really make a modder do what ya want.

Maybe they can put out some incentive to do so? Though, I think they kinda set themselves up for that one.
