What I hate most working/going to work/taking care of official documents during the morning hours is that my bowel movements happen during said time span.
POV: It was 2008. Sun was high that afternoon, as sweltering heat of Manila's urban jungle simmered. You just got out of your class, and was walking home with your college friends, as you all waited for the available jeepneys on the way home. OPM rock played on the radio...
If there's one thing I learned since I started writing seriously back in May 2019, it's the fact I enjoyed writing stories for myself THEN sharing it to anyone interested.
Just had a talk with the admin of my school. Good thing they understood my position and gave me leeway to do their free requests. It's nice to have a principal who understands your struggles as a graphics artist.
This is the artwork I did for our school's namesake, Gen. Tomas Mascardo. It was requested from me FOR FREE, apparently, to put into some announcements in our FB page.
Speaking of romanticizing rape in fiction, one of our famous authors here, Jonaxx, often writes it in her works...widely available in Wattpad. NGL, she's so effective that teenagers idolize her, especially my Grade 8 students.
That is, aside from incest, and Stockholm syndrome. I dunno; I'm not Jonaxx. Ask her!
An important rule when working in the Philippines:
-Do not answer (or even look at) emails or messages on social media from your co-workers or admin during weekends. They will grab all, and leave none for you. Putangina nila.
Now I feel lethargic. Lol
