New season of Dexter is on! So far I have mixed feelings. The first episode began kind of awkward, but with the character introductions out of the way, it's been very fun and engaging. The second episode was very fun, all these dominoes being set up.

There are days when I don't feel sad for no reason and am willing to believe in people and not be annoyed, and setbacks don't feel as cutting and difficulties feel manageable and on these days I wonder if that's how normal well-adjusted people feel ALL THE TIME. Or at least often. If so, then I am jealous.

My friend (not Envy) invited a date for dinner and the date decided to eat garlic. She was so exasperated! It was wrong on so many layers! Firstly, if she was afraid of garlic, why would she have it at home? Secondly, what did that idiot think, the garlic chunks would begin floating inside their bloodstream? Thirdly, even if it was true and garlic was digestible, it would still take time for it to go through!
