A friend of mine wrote a novel set in a world where the CSA won. He was accused of being a Klansman. Even though the premise was an Insurrection against the Richmond government
I had one person get mad at me because I wrote a black character into the story as a white person. They weren't offended that the character was black but that I wasn't. As for throwaway characters, only had someone get sad that a character dies oflnly a few pages after meeting them.
Hey. Now i think about it.
I could probably bet that the reason author totally ditch/dont care of the Boruto bs.
Is (beside that he was giga overworked and need rest, and didnt give time to his family)
maybe a revenge against readers for pushing him to write Hinata as heroine. Maybe. We will never know.
The worse is that there is truly potential to be true.
As in naruto period, there were LoveHina Pokemon-misty etc series that had a MC x "violent" girl = meta in JP (bc they are fed up with nadeshikos and dont have energetic girls)
So imagine being annoyed already to not write your furry plot, AND THEN forced to draw your heroine you love, get into the hands of the handsome popular rich bad guy ikemen
Well, mine isn't focused on a any special character.
So, the setup of the scene is my MC can't leave the palace at the moment because the Prime Minister is trying to expel her from the Kingdom. But she can create Golems that can send information back to her telepathically and she needs to spy on the Duke as he's the most shrewd person that's out to get her and her love interest.
Whole global world : No thx, we prefer Hinata.
