Shame and embarrassment?

Im not at the point of shame and embarrassment but... maybe nearing it? Or maybe I should already feel such?

An inability to acquire readers without directly requesting it of specific individuals doesn't feel like something to take pride in.

Hmm...if you're unhappy with the number of readers, more chapters and extra time will fix that.
Many readers refuse to read stories with few chapters, cuz there is a high chance the author abandons it in the middle.

I see. I suppose that is a thing.

It doesn't help that I can go and see that the only people who have read my story to completion are people who have been pressured or obligated into it.

I deleted my stories because I wasn't happy with the quality. The reader counts were there, but the quality was terrible.

That is actually worse! Seeing slop novels do so well yet I cant do anything is not a really inspiring discovery. XD

Plus I also saw your novel once, before you even talked to me, sorely due to the title. I just really like it for some reason.

I like my title. I would benefit from changing it to something more appropriate but I cant bring myself to do it.

The story was intended to live up to the title more than it is. Alas, I have failed in that regard.

Hm... yeah, I can see why. Title is fun but it hints at a travel focused story.

It will be *eventually*. The story is such a huge scope project that applying anything to fit properly is really tricky.

The problem is she has to get to a point that she *can* travel.

The writing is easy. I enjoy that for the most part. The problem is marketing it and mentally surviving the failure to do so effectively.

Your novel has a lot of room for misunderstandings, that is all. If it really bothers you, you can pause and edit.

Id not call it effortless, but I can churn out more content without too much trouble.

I just finished the next chapter this morning and am proofing it now. Its got some really cute content in it.
