She listened to me rant about stupid reviewers, and she's periodically checking up on me to see if I am eating properly. She's not afraid to say something that might make me uncomfortable, even if it's a situation where I should do the right thing.

The "general compliments" like kindhearted and thoughtful cover these things. When I was saying some super depressive stuff before, she pointed out a behavior of ignoring certain things that's harmful. Yes, and she's not the only one.
