6. Lacks proper progression.

7. When you do get to the monsters, they are a joke.

8. A lot of boring Side Quests.

9. Bug tracking is very bad.

Evaluation for the first half, incredibly mid. Though, it is fun like I said.

1, 2, & 9: Navigation could use some work.
3: The writing could be a bit more consistent.
4: I don't like the limited dialogue.
5: IT JUST SUCKS!
6, 7, & 8: Even more so.
LOL!

I’ve played a lot of Monster Hunter games, and don’t remember them being this mixed.

Older ones.

1. Map Layout is clear, prevents confusion with easy to identify marks.

2. An actual pattern to tracking monsters, which cuts down on the search time for them. That or use an item to spot em.

3. A proper steady progressing.
—> You’re steadily rewarded which loops in very well.

4. Side Quests while there were a lot, many were actually enjoyable.

I can go on for hours for the older Monster Hunter games before this point. It is like, I don’t know what they were thinking. It feels more like pieces of ideas, rather than complete thoughts.

Anyway, gotta do the second half of the game. Hopefully that gets better.

I can't give an opinion on this as I've never played world and likely never will. Just found the change from slight issues with the game that can be tweaked to the game itself lacks substance alongside much more damning issues funny.
