Can I read your story?

Tbh, I don't have any good advice. Be a selfish author and you'll be happy (probably).

Why are you asking permission to read my story anyway? You can always read it, cringe, and then forget about it XD

The story I am talking about is not the one I am writing with school buses, I wouldn't publish that one until it's finished.

This one is kinda mid my reader counts are hemorrhaging. Are you sure you still want to read it?

I don't really mind! A quarter of my current story involves amnesia and psychological manipulation... so it's not like I dislike it or anything

My sister in hell, your story is hemorrhaging (urgh, I hate that word why is that word a thing?) followers because your readers expectations are too high.
Don't get into genre rising star next time.
