You know if the world was a simulation, the impossible should be possible to some extent. Such as through a bug or unintended flaw in the simulation. And if you have seen any ai evolution things you can see how through countless generations they take advantage of those bugs/flaws. Therefore if we or any living being is not doing likewise it is unlikely for us to be in a simulation.

I am probably sick. Or my body is just angry at me.

I am planning a story using a modified version of the SciADV formula. The biggest detractor to their games imo is that the majority of them come off as veiled harems. With every woman introduced being interested in the protagonist at some point. Think Steins; Gate or the Chäos; series. Robotics; Notes changed that abit with 3 of the 5 being so.
