Biringan is one of the many 'folklores' that contribute to the 'notoriety' and 'mystery' of the Visayan region. In case you guys don't know, Visayans have a reputation among Flips for being superstitious, and dabbling with the occult and demons. Why do you ask, @Paul_Tromba ?

Visayas is the group of islands in the middle of the Philippine archipelago, sandwiched between Luzon (the landmass to the north), and Mindanao (the landmass to the south).

While Paul questioned you, I went to google for a quick glance and I thought it was like Atlantis or Faewild.

Tis the Flip "Agartha," though nowadays, the area is slowly being urbanized (Samar Island) that such folklores are slowly fading.
