I rewatched the first opening sequence of Dexter, the one where he ominously shaves and cooks. It could easily have been a compelling and thrilling slice-of-life show about cooking if I didn't know better. Even the background music sounds jolly.
I can imagine Mr. Dexter monologuing the ideal recipe for making cookies.
Lent a dollar to a person on the street, they promised to send it to me online and said they'd remember the account number I said once. I don't believe it but it'd be a fun little story if it did come true.

The first episode was very good. So excited for the rest!
The actor playing young Dexter is just right. The awkwardness and weirdness just rolling straight off of him in waves, the anticipation and the jubilation of the first kill, everything was just so cathartic! And the episode itself was tightly written and flew like butter. Although the editing was a bit over the top and annoying at times.
I remember when I was younger it took a long time to download a movie. Now it's a matter of a minute or two and it rocks.
Anyway, Dexter original sin ep 1 here I go.

Finished Dexter: new blood. Very good show, I really enjoyed it. Although at times the dialogue could be better and have fewer "fucks".
