    That's awful to hear. I have a soft spot for Hans and have had several interesting conversations with the guy. So it's sad to know Anon is unsympathetic to Hans's mental state, especially with how well-known of an issue it is on these forums.

    Yep. I was going bonkers, like very panicked when Hans was in this (whileago) very-down depressed period. He is a great dude and kind.
    But his profile was locked, his situation was despairing(emotionally, family lvl and job), even deleted or not his series SH (there was his friend posting for him his series+Hans art)

    I find it funny when the chinese authors like to use Superman's and diet Superman (aka Homelander)'s powers but not Omniman's.

    Granted, Omniman has no laser vision, which kind of sucks. But I thought they have Super Saiyan ability such as strength growth through aging and immensive strength boost after near death fights?

    Far COOLER to heat vision (heck pretty sure its a thing ANYONE like the most in superman after flying / AND iron-man beams)
    compared to smashing stuff and crushing people in melee to meat paste.

    That is why Ironman is so popular and not Hulk (pre-loki-meme era especially). Cool RANGED vs melee meh and dirty+boring. (there is a marvel game F2P where 70% players take ironman)

    You know, when the Reincarnated Swordmaster's supposed plot twist was that it was the Seoul Emperor who orchestrated the demon invasion of his own nation, I was genuinely surprised, even if for a little bit. I still had trust in my govt or shunned my eyes.

    Nowadays it is normal to know that anyone who isn't sucking off MC's todger is pretty much the bad guys, especially if they are of higher power than MC.

    Its from the duo artist/writer of Death note. (that btw i seriously wonder if the mangaka series is a self-insert/true-story)

    and i think they experience the "washed up" trope, that they cant understand anymore the market and try to replicate their success by going "BIG" on the plot, sadly its as dumb as a xianxia going "OH ALIENS ARE COMING !" in their later plots.

    The worse is that THE BEGIN WAS GOOD, VERY good.
    But damn, the drama, and bs shenanigans of relationships, and sad sob stories began to pill up and the big villain having a big big sob reason.

    The worse is that if they turned off their brains and go FULL [KENGAN ASURA] brainless fighting and bloody nonsense for eyeballs, they would made a fortune, and series a big success.

    In Pixiv an artist drew Black Myth Kang-Jin Loong getting stolen from Wukong by Yellowbrow. You know, NTR?

    And whilst I was scrolling Utube, I saw a video with said thumbnail with a title "what exactly did Yellowbrow do to Kang-Jin Loong?!"

    Only 182 views and posted 9 days ago. Not eating the bait but just my lips pulled up into a smile.

    Turns out the author pulled the plug.

    Ps. Before you say "you should download it if it was that important", it's not. It is just that some of his concepts were fun and innovate, if not completely ridiculous when you think about it and the guy decides to dip.

    Do they get traced back? Or is this a "shame" thing?

    There is a sense of irony.

    In CN, MCs mostly don't have their story ended due to death or otherwise and have a new MC erected, I understand that logic.

    But when you tell me that the MC has immortality aka can't be dead unless by external forces from the start, I will not read the story.

    Because oftentimes MC will abuse the deathlessness on OP skills and I cannot feel the steaks.

    Right now I am only binging chinese raw, because those are always in constant supply.

    I can go up to 30 - 40 chinese chapters a day though recently not on workdays because boss is not happy of me using worktime to read.

    Taking Runesmith as an example, I once binged 10 chapters in two hours, granted with loads of skipping and rereading.

    Get Lost is high on mystic horror.

    Which is fine and still a good read.

    But I am huffing tons of copium if I say that I myself is enjoying it.

    I miss the body training montage of MC, turning himself into a muscle freak and making minced meat jams out of people.
