I did say I hate litRPG, but I was once a fan of litRPG. I lost it after the proliferation of photocopies, loss of character dynamics, and the unimaginative systems. I want to write something that is conceptually different yet still the same genre.
But you don't have to write in a genre with a lot of works that you hate, or a genre you came to hate because of photocopies. It's not like you only like those genres, right?
The only different story I wrote is the Ballad. That one's a semi-autobio, and I wrote it for the sole purpose of not forgetting my years in my old work.
Tis fine, @SailusGebel I understand your talking point. It's just that, I love to write anti-theses of the genres and the stories that came to define it.
For short, you can say I integrated love, challenge and my 'originality' (if you can call it that) in my creation process.
Speaking of isekai and photocopies. If you look at the "So many pointless Isekai" threads, you will notice that everyone defaults to the usual medieval european setting, and a lot of takes are based on it. Or maybe I missed something again? Anyway, can you give me link to the site with all your volumes? I want to bookmark it.
