Just completed a 1000-mile (980-90-ish) drive in 15 hours. It is actually the road, straighter, in good condition, and abundances of stops. Also, I loaded up my drive with a few different audiobooks and podcasts to listen to, and the time just flew.

That, and we are much more accustomed to driving. I would drive for an hour and a half for some good food weekly.

@BouncyCactus NGL It's something that has always fascinated me about the USA. The fact that everything is so big and even doing daily grocery shopping is a journey. Thanks for responding, I've always wanted to ask that.:sweat_smile:
