US exports military weapons. It's not part of GDP. I think deals with EU mean they buy some fighter jets at like 12-16 times the price. It's a weird messed up world. Plus, even if exports are higher, Apple still has ownership rights over many chips and their headquarters are in the United States.
It goes beyond imports and exports.
Especially since the US has severely kneecapped its manufacturing capabilities. While it is cheaper for US business owners to manufacture in other countries, the result of this is the death of American industry and economic power.
