@Nahrenne IRL, but maybe...Hm, @Aaqil is the campus cat in the fic, and I haven't interacted with *check notes* him yet, so...maybe I will include that in my next chapter.
And yes, Microwave (that's the cat's name, named by a Physics professor years ago lol) was very cute, but also very sassy.

She is also the source of entertainment when freshmen posted reddit threads and forum questions about looking for a microwave for their lunch, only for us the seniors to direct them toward Microwave's last known position.

My uni is a commuter school with a large population of students who pack their own lunches, and the microwave corner was on the video tour of the campus, and we have like 20 of them scattered all over.
