You know I just realized that my MC fights in the fantasy equivalent of a sundress. I really shouldn't be talking about how practical armor is lol.

Has anyone else reread their old work and wondered if they were having a stroke when they wrote it? Or is that just me?

You know looking back on it I can genuinely say that the last few years have been utter crap, thankfully I've lived a lot of years now so it doesn't seem so bad to me but boy do I hope next year is better.

We had to put down my son's old cat today, the poor old guy was filled with cancer and didn't have more than a few days left but it was still hard. My son, who's 16, was the one that made the decision. I think watching him do that was worse than having to do it myself anyway, I just felt like saying something.

So I've been having a bit of writer's block and I was having trouble coming up with something to write in my current novel. Instead of taking a break, I decided to start writing the second novel I've been thinking of for a while and I managed to write the first ten chapters in a few days. Then I was able to go back and write five chapters in my current novel without any issues, guess I just needed a change of pace.

A twenty-minute update just took four hours and now I have to reconfigure several network devices first thing in the morning... I love my job I really do.

Today I learned that Mrs. Claus doesn't have a first name and I find myself vexed by this information.

You know I should probably be writing instead of posting on here.
