It has much violence and gore, as I am very descriptive with it. I don't shy away from the dirt and grime. It's the selling point for my story.
But I also described the Goblins and their... antics. Not in detail, but it's there. What they do to their captives. I was on the fence as to whether or not to have the scene, but I felt that I'd be a coward if I censored it.
It's not against the rules as long as you don't promote or encourage it. If rape scene isn't portrayed favorably, you can include it. Though, you post on RR, and I don't know what are RR content guidelines about it.
It certainly doesn't portray the scene in a good light, and the MC reacts very sourly to it. I've reviewed the guidelines and there's nothing against it but I do remember another book I think on here that did something similar. Dude got flamed so hard.
Honestly just going to chalk it up to my typical response; "if they stay, they stay. If they hate it, they hate it."
Ah, to add- the guy who got flamed did a poor job detailing the scene in the first place and his MC literally merc'd one of the victims without much reason other than pity. So there's that.
Ohh, dunno about the main site. Since I have a relatively thick skin, I don't care about comments or reviews. As long as my story won't get deleted, they can do whatever they want.
I'm of the same mind. It's just one of those borderline scenarios where I'm gonna post it, but is it worth posting? If it blows up, I'm gonna groan and now I've got this fire on my hands I've gotta sit in.
Ah, I mean that I'm posting the chapter regardless, but it's whether I want to deal with the backlash if there is any. Since it's likely a controversial scene and there's a high chance someone is going to shove a pitchfork in my face.
Ye, I can and likely will. I've used the Comment Delete button quite a bit on early chapters. But you know how cancel culture gets these days. Some of them can be persistent as hell.
My core readers won't be bothered though. They know this story ain't a pretty one with glamor and dazzling heroics.

Have you ever written a scene so gorey that grammarly refused to correct the grammatical errors and informed a government cyber security thingy which in turn sent a message about it.
