It was the blunt truth that I didn't receive enough huggles during my rough childhood.

It was also the truth that I simply look at my inner darkness and amplify my understanding of various evil forces and desires to come up with villains. It works the other way too though. I can look at the good parts of myself for inspiration. The struggle of the Good Yorda vs the Evil Yorda.

Everyone uses this method intuitively though, even if they don't realize it, because the only way we understand emotions is through our own experiences and reactions in life.

The internet says: "Alexithymia is a personality construct characterized by the subclinical inability to identify and describe emotions experienced by one's self or others."

Sounds troublesome.

Sometimes I'm kinda scared of myself.

*huggles again*

I think that everyone, in some ways, is scared of themselves - or choose to ignore that part so they don't feel the fear.
Since I'm socially dense, I try to emulate examples rather than use myself.

Saying that, though, I have realised that my main protagonist and some main characters of my story share some of my insecurities...

I hope you get lots of huggles these days, at least.

Here's a joke though. Since people tell me I should lighten the mood sometimes.

When I looked into the abyss,
Yorda looked back ...

So I just need to look at a mirror to see into the abyss!?
