their need of being called something is heavier then my need to call them something else.

if someone says "I am called Richard, I don't call me Richie", I am just gonna say yeah,sure, whatever, and not be a dick about it.

This will be me just being nosy, but, if someone tells me to not call them Richie, I will ask why.
And if it's going to be something like it's a trend on Facebook to not call people that, I'll be a dick about it
