for me, I think I'll run for my own race. it's called thick muscular dark-skinned tomboy thighs. the goal is wedging your face in between them. come join; there's plenty of room for everyone else.

A reader recommended me this:

It explains why the very structure of power cannot allow virtue most of the time

What are those first-world country problems you are speaking about? I have tyranny(or whatever fancy word you want to use) in my country. No choice, no problem. :blob_shade:

@BenJepheneT Nah, they are still trying to keep the facade of democracy.
greyblob

you can't drop the facade otherwise others would come howling at you. thats why you control every source of media and make sure to keep other countries content enough to turn a blind eye
RepresentingWrath

@greyblob I would've agreed with you if it was a few years ago. Nowadays, I think that they don't even need the facade anymore. No one will do anything to them anyway.

hmm well it depends. it's not that simple. lets say the chancellor is stealing from the treasury and the king knows but chooses to ignore it. but then the chancellor goes around bragging to the court. well the king is now forced to address the issue.

and the facade is just as important for the citizens as it is for other countries

It's too long of a talk, and I won't be able to answer you properly in English. My opinion is somewhat different from yours, so let's leave it at that.

nah im too curious now, you have to explain. and you can just write in broken English I'll make out the meaning

UN can't do shit. They don't have an army, and the most they can do is angrily wave their fingers and reprimand. The moment they actually do something, like introduce sanctions to those dictatorships, they immediately shit themselves. Cause those dictatorships entangled with someone from the opposite block, and the amount of profit UN will lose is too much.
RepresentingWrath
RepresentingWrath
They can't make sanctions that will truly hurt the dictatorship. They can only hurt regular citizens who live in those countries. As for the people of countries with dictatorships, it depends. In my country, if you drop the facade, nothing will change. Cause people don't want to fight for their freedom; they are too scared.

hmm there are certain images you have to maintain. it's not just about the UN. if for whatever reason your current ruling party (a ruler of a supposedly deplomatic country) comes out and declares themselves a dictatorship, they would be gone the next day.
greyblob

if you're unable to fulfill your role and play by the rules then others, who are more capable, will replace you. the ruler doesn't run the country by themselves. the same rules that apply outwardly, apply inwardly. but then again im pretty retarded and all of this is probably wrong/incomplete
RepresentingWrath
RepresentingWrath
Sadly, some rulers do run the country by themselves. When the control is based on the fact that there will not be anyone more capable, only yes-men, there is no way for replacement to happen.
greyblob
greyblob
nah it doesn't work like that. you should watch the video above

I'm just too lazy to elaborate and phrase everything well enough.
