True. It was supposed to be causing laughter (which was done perfectly until there was a flashback of their childhood). Both the FL and the ML got abducted by a crazy lady who got cheated on. She tied their hands and legs with cable ties (which left deep scars) and killed herself in front of them. Climax they call it.
