I can fake make a hundred certificates like that. They don't mean anything. I can literally write anything on my resume and make a fake certificate from Udemy or anything to prove that. It doesn't matter. No one cares.

On EdX I think it is something like.Free courses need payment for certificate(after completion) and paid courses need payment(get certificates automatically after completion)

NPTEL is a pretty good government certificate course service. I would reccomend that if you ever wanna learn a new skill. They teach way better than private companies.
