I happen to have decorative soaps I never use, thus will never lose. I am no longer part of the problem.

Thank you for pointing that out, as it happens to be that you failed to use an idiom. You comment is more of a forced proverb that sounded like you were talking about people than objects with the use of 'doesn't cry'. It's easy to confuse sometimes.

Ah, I was struggling to remember what the figure of speech was called. I made it up on the spot so wasn't sure of its category.

No worries! English language is hard to master to even native born speakers! Quite easy to mix things up.
