I hate writing descriptions. Summarizing is so hard. I never know how much to include or what should be left out. I feel like my descriptions always end up lacking. I'm gonna have to learn to master this one way or another.
Is comment deleting a common thing? I received a quite detailed comment earlier today. (I saw it on my phone but I figured I'd wait until I got on my computer to reply) But when I got to my computer, the comment had been deleted. I don't think it was a bot, it had genuinely interesting insights and suggestions and etc. Weird. I suppose the account could have been deleted.
I'm a hundred thousand words into my story when I realize I have a horse named Conis, and a woman named Conis. These two are completely irrelevant to each other plot/story wise, but I really want to make the woman find out that a horse has the same name as her. (She'd probably be quite annoyed about it)
I sometimes have trouble deciding when a chapter is done. I'll loop around editing scenes and revising for hours, feeling like something doesn't feel right. That's usually a sign that I need to take a little tea break.
I've been writing literally all day. I've written nearly ten thousand words in the last fifteen hours. I need to go to sleep. But I have an idea for another scene...
As of today I've posted 200k words since joining scribhub. (~60k of those words were backlog from beforehand) So that's about a 140k words I've pumped out in the last month or so. I'm quite happy with that. 100k words would've taken me several months last year. I think the idea of an audience has really got me moving.
I'm unreasonably anxious about the tags I put on my stories. One of my stories is tagged with smut, but the smut doesn't start until like thirty chapters in. I'm worried that everyone's gonna lose their horny minds. It's like: trust me, the characters are gonna fuck each other's brains out soon. Sooooonnnn.
I love/hate attention. My stories are getting a bit of traction, which is exactly the reason I joined this site. But now I'm freaking out like: Ooh, what if they don't like this scene or what if this character comes off too assholey.
